Working at Comcast: Meet Alvin, a Customer Account Executive

Get to know Alvin, a Customer Account Executive working on Comcast’s frontlines to help enhance the customer experience. Alvin is the latest subject of “Working at Comcast,” a series of articles that chronicles the daily working lives of Comcast employees throughout the country.

Alvin’s day is spent assisting customers with billing questions, informing them about Comcast’s products and services, and helping to troubleshoot any issues that might arise.

The job is not always easy and rarely predictable, but Alvin’s affinity for problem solving and helping customers allows him to thrive in the role. It doesn’t hurt that he really enjoys his team.

“The main thing that I love about my job is the atmosphere,” Alvin says. “I enjoy all of the supervisors, I enjoy all of my co-workers. At the end of the day, we are really just family.”

Alvin works out of Comcast’s New Castle, Delaware, Customer Operations Center – which is just a short drive from the home he shares with his wife and two sons. He loves that this position has given him an opportunity to provide for them.

He says, “[I love] the stability that it’s given me, the confidence that it’s given me, the ability to take care of my family.”
