Overnight sensation and medium to the stars Tyler Henry sent an exclusive message to XFINITY LGBT! The 20-year-old—who’s taking Hollywood by storm with his incredible gift of clairvoyance—has said many times that he doesn’t watch much television, but when he does he’s watching the contestants of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” strut their stuff! “It encourages people to be themselves and look fabulous along the way,” Tyler says.
It’s not hard to believe that he doesn’t have much time to relax and watch TV. Tyler has become one of the most sought after mediums to the stars with his own TV show to focus on.
If you’re not one of the millions of people who have tuned in to E!’s hit show “Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry,” allow me to introduce you to one of the network’s youngest stars. Tyler is a clairvoyant, whose first encounter with his gift happened when he was just 10 years old. Ever since then, Tyler has been able to receive messages from “the other side” as well as predict the futures of people who are still here.
Tyler went on to use his gifts working in hospice care, before taking on some of the biggest names in Hollywood as his clients. Tyler was only 19 years old when season one of his hit show premiered on E!
The first season featured Tyler going into the homes of NeNe Leakes, Jaime Presley, Tom Arnold, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and many more. Tyler comes in, sits down and begins scribbling in his notebook, making sense of the messages that he’s receiving from the other side.
In the season two premiere, Tyler gives readings to Melissa Joan Hart (“Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” “Melissa and Joey”) and Justin Bieber protégé Madison Beer. He also pays a visit to Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s hometown to meet her family and catch up nearly a year after her first reading.
Tyler arrives at the home of Melissa Joan Hart, surprised and excited to see her. The 20-year-old, who has admitted many times to not being an avid television watcher, doesn’t always recognize the celebrities he meets. This was not the case this time around, as Tyler immediately recognized Hart.
His next stop is to the home of teen starlet Madison Beer, whom Tyler admits to not recognizing. With her mother and brother listening in the next room, Tyler shares messages with various people from her life who have passed away. Beer, a super-fan of Tyler Henry, expresses her gratitude and even asks to keep Tyler’s page of scribbles as a souvenir.
This episode also features a rare moment where Tyler is overcome with emotion, and begins to cry in the car on the way to Snooki’s Jersey City home. The producer asks what’s wrong and Tyler explains that while he tends to experience physical sensations during and on his way to readings (you can see Tyler begin to sweat heavily or experience discomfort in his chest during many readings), sometimes they can manifest emotionally and that’s what’s happening in this moment. He arrives for what is to be a simple visit with the “Jersey Shore” star and her family, but explains to them his experience on the way over, and they agree to have a reading. Tyler connects them with a young woman whom the family is able to identify as Snooki’s stepsister, who died earlier that year. Tyler Henry seems relieved of his discomfort, and the family is extremely grateful.
This is just the first of many emotional episodes in this season. Be sure to watch Tyler give readings to Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian, Moby, Tori Spelling and many more on the second season of “Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry” in the XFINITY LGBT Collection.
