Melissa McCarthy Boosts SNL to the Top

‘Saturday Night Live’ (NBC)

Melissa McCarthy returned to host Saturday Night Live once again, and her latest appearance boosted the long-running Saturday night staple to the top spot of the XFINITY Weekly Top 20 On Demand episodes list. The show is enjoying a ratings renaissance, with its best numbers in over 20 years, boosted by Alec Baldwin playing President Donald Trump and Melissa McCarthy’s take on White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer. Catch Up: The grandaddy of all reality shows, Survivor, is wrapping up its 34th season this Wednesday night with a 2-hour season finale followed by the 1-hour live reunion. This has been the Game Changers season, and the twists and turns have come fast and furious. Two-time winner Sandra was voted out of the game for the first time, Tai has two immunity idols stashed as he sits in the Final 6, and cop Sarah looks like she might be the favorite to win. Hot Series: Grey’s Anatomy just concluded its remarkable 13th season with a fiery episode that saw many lives hanging in the balance as a fire engulfed the hospital. And a surprise reappearance shook up the staff as someone they thought was dead turned out to be very much alive. The show is still going strong, and in fact ABC has ordered a spinoff featuring firefighters set for next season. Catch up on past episodes right here.
