The Rules: Each week, Michele Fitzgerald and Gordon Holmes will create separate power rankings. The ranking of the person who is voted out of the next episode will determine the number of points the players will earn.  For example, if Tiffany is voted out, Michele will receive nine points and Gordon will receive ten. The person with the most points at the end of the season will be declared the “Survivor: 41” Power Rankings champion.

Last Week: Michele had Sydney in spot ten while Gordon had her in spot seven. So, the current score is Team Fitzgerald 52, Team Holmes 51.

Quick Note: The Power Rankings place the players in order of how safe they are heading into the next episode, not how likely they are to win the entire game.

Team Fitzgerald: 52 Team Holmes: 51

1. Shan: She didn’t listen to the information people in her alliance were giving her on relationships that had formed pre merge. She needs to trust that the people in her alliance also know how to play and not always try to control it. That being said, I think she has the numbers right now. 1. Shan: You hold a lot of blame in Liana’s mishap last week. But, you’ve still got an idol and you’re smack dab in the middle of the dominant alliance. You should be fine.
2. Liana: She proved herself to a new alliance and cut ties with her former alliance all in one fell swoop. She should have the numbers but those pesky advantages mean a lot of question marks. 2. Deshawn: Deshawn felt vulnerable last week. He made a move and his entire alliance seemed to have his back. Not bad.
3. Danny: He won immunity and he was right, in a fair world he wouldn’t have had to go to tribal. But “Survivor” is not fair and he has to be adaptable. I am hoping he is. 3. Heather: Hey! It’s Sydney’s best friend! If our expletive-laden exit interview is to believed, people are viewing Heather as the perfect goat.
4. Naseer: The bottom of a big alliance or the bottom of a smaller alliance. I think he made the right choice this week but I hope he starts to play for himself soon. 4. Liana: You knew Xander knew about your advantage…how on Earth did you think he’d wave an idol in front of you at Tribal?! I’ll never understand. Anywho, you’re probably safe.
5. Ricard: He seem to have latched on to Shan’s group which I think is good for him short term. Long term, I worry he will be bottom of the totem pole. 5. Xander: Unless your group can throw some heat on someone else, I’m thinking it’s going to be a game of guess where the idol is. If you’re smart, you’ll look out for number one this time.
6. Erika: You seem the least attached which means you could be used as numbers or, sadly, disposable. 6. Danny: Danny is never going to be high in my rankings again. Don’t get me wrong, I think he’s in a really good position. But, he’s just too much of a challenge powerhouse.
7. Heather: Same as Erika. 7. Erika: She upset the red buffs, then immediately went to work with them. That group is clearly madder at Probst than they are with Erika. They should have bigger fish to fry, but they were just tossing her name around days earlier.
8. Deshawn: He has the right mindset and perspective to be successful in this game. He is social, adaptable, and has numbers. Because of those reasons, I think he is in danger. 8. Naseer: Naseer is such a mystery. He’s working with the dominant alliance, but they’d boot him given the chance. He’s got this idol that isn’t a secret. Don’t get too comfortable.
9. Tiffany: Saving her numbers by exposing Liana’s advantage. We love that. But her, Xander and Evvie are actively shown on the bottom and a simple game of confusing the trio could lead to them not knowing where to play the idol. 9. Ricard: Would Shan bounce Ricard to work with her new buddies? Absolutely. Is Ricard a really appealing person to sit with at the end? Absolutely.
10. Xander: You may look like a little surfer bro but under all that hair is a brain. That crafty boy! I am proud of him for keeping his alliance safe, keeping his idol in play, and flushing out not one, but 2 advantages. 10. Tiffany: Being trusted to hold onto Xander’s advantages says a lot about how much he must trust you. But, with Sydney gone, and Liana angry, you don’t have many ties to the rest of the group.
11. Evvie: She has the strongest bonds, with Xander and Tiffany using their smarts to navigate her out of a tough spot this week. They outplayed the entire merge tribe and we loveddddd every second of it. But next week, it seems Shan is focused on getting Evvie out, and I would not want to be on the other side of Shan. 11. Evvie: What a unique situation they find themselves in where someone is willing to risk an idol to save you, but you’re probably not willing to return the favor. Will Xander do it again? Should he if he’s not immune himself?
