QUICK NOTE: XFINITY.com is the place to be for all of your bug-eatin’, back-stabbin’, “Survivor” coverage. During the season we’ll have insightful weekly Power Rankings with Reem Daly and Aubry Bracco, exit interviews, and full episode recaps. Follow me on Twitter (@gordonholmes) for up-to-the-minute updates.
The Rules: Each week our combatants will create separate power rankings. The ranking of the person who is voted out of the next episode will determine the number of points the players will earn. For example, if Dan is voted out this episode, Reem and Aubry will receive nine points and Gordon will receive ten points. At the end of the season, the team with the most points will be named the “Survivor: Island of the Idols” Power Rankings Challenge Champion!
Last Week: Reem Daly and Aubry Bracco had Tom in spot five, while Gordon Holmes had him in spot three. So, the current score is Team EOE: 37, Team Holmes 42.
Quick Note: Rankings are not based on who the player thinks is most likely to win. The smart strategy is to rank players based on how safe you think they are in the upcoming vote.
Reem and Aubry’s Score: 37
Gordon’s Score: 42

Reem: I feel like he’s doing really well. I like him a lot. He’s easy to talk to, he doesn’t freak out and he’s good at challenges. He’s a team player.
Aubry: I love watching people find their footing. Fingers crossed for Jason – there’s still a lot of game left.
1. Jamal: The former Vokai foursome has put up such a strong wall that I don’t think Dean or Karishma are even going to look for cracks. If they lose immunity they’re going to be going after each other. And, Jamal’s still packing an idol. Mega safe.
Aubry: He’s calm, cool, collected and making new friends.
Reem: Tommy and Aaron secretly making buddies? Yeah, he’s fine – they’re backing each other up.
2. Jack: Ah, Jack. A kind shoulder to lean on. Such a good young man. He isn’t going anywhere.
Reem: Elaine is smart. She’s got that “look inside yourself, Clarice,” thing going on. She’s watching what’s up, man.
Aubry: That’s the perfect place to be right now.
3. Jason: The trailer has me confused with Vaiko talking about voting someone out so passionately. Are we getting a double Tribal? Anywho, it looks like Jason is going to have some say in whatever happens.
Aubry: She’s there, but she’s keeping it low profile — it’s still early. That’s not a bad place to be pre-merge.
Reem: I think she’s safe to the merge!
4. Janet: Boy, did you see Janet read Tom like a book? That was impressive. I’m not sure I loved her calling out Dean-o Machine-o at Tribal, but I don’t think he’s in a position to do very much about it.
Aubry: I hope people don’t see what a threat she is, because I want to see her last.
Reem: Kellee’s good now until merge – she’s on the majority.
5. Noura: I feel like you’re in a good spot for once, unless you do something ridiculous. Oh wait…
Aubry: I found out he was at Brown University while I was there! So I have nothing to say but #TeamJamal. Super nice and grounded guy.
Reem: He’s good too. On the majority? He’s flying smooth.
6. Elizabeth: I have no idea what’s going to go down at new Vaiko, but I think there are going to be bigger fish to fry.
Reem: Noura was a boss. She’s a challenge beast. She’s doing much better than she was. Noura’s safe for a bit. I’d say.
Aubry: Yup, and I’m here for it.
7. Tommy: I like Tommy, but boy does he set off every “Survivor” alarm I have. The tall, athletic, good-looking, teacher that everyone likes? Never loses his cool? I wouldn’t take my eye off of him for a second. I won’t be surprised at all when someone finally figures out that he should go.
Reem: He’s didn’t do anything crazy. He’s good until merge.
Aubry: He’s keeping it low-key – like a few others, not a bad place to be right now!
8. Lauren: You know what I really want? I want a former Vaiko member to get voted out so I can ask why Noura was kicked out of the caller position. I also hope that Vaiko member isn’t Lauren.
Reem: Dan was fine. It seems like Dan is staying out of the limelight. Nothing shady on Dan right now.
Aubry: I agree. This was a good week for him! Keep it going.
9. Elaine: I – will – never – get – tired – of – Elaine’s – wrestling – antics. Can we replace the Island of the Idols with the Elaine Suplex Show?
Reem: Don’t put baby in the corner! Whatever, Dean.
Aubry: I love people who tell it it like it is, but sometimes it can bite you. I can’t wait to see how her bluntness ends up panning out for her game.
10. Dan: I seriously forgot Dan was on this show.
Aubry: We didn’t quite see enough, and there could be a revolt from within her alliance.
Reem: Looks like Aaron’s deciding which woman stays – be careful ladies.
11. Missy: I love Missy. She’s my winner pick. She’s a challenge machine and a cold blooded killer. But there was something about how she immediately threw old Lairo under the bus that made me feel a little uneasy. Hopefully I’m just imagining things.
Aubry: She got some swap luck! Let’s hope it stays that way and she plants new alliance seeds that see her through, because it looks like stuff could be shaking up.
Reem: Missy had a great week – “don’t bite the hand that feeds you.” We’ll see what happens next time.
12. Kellee: It’s awesome that Karishma and Dean came to you to be their new tribe buddy. Buuuut…did the rest of your tribe notice? You can be too liked.
Aubry: “Survivor” can be as much about self-discovery as the game. The game ends, the rest of your life does not. Good on you, Karishma, I’m glad you’re getting something out of it. I’m not sure that will keep you around, but that’s a win.
Reem: Karishma, nice job opening up and forming new relationships. Good for you for learning more about yourself.
13. Aaron: You are making a lot of noise on a tribe that is teetering on the edge. It could go either way and I’d be very careful about putting a target on my back.
Reem: Aaron’s being smart with Tommy – they’re aware that they need each other. Good work making new friends.
Aubry: Yes – I like that he’s thinking long-term by making smart short-term decisions and working with Tommy. That said – it looks like he could be itching to make a move next week, and that can be dangerous if done too early! Be careful.
14. Dean: Detective Dean kept a level head on his shoulders and survived a dangerous situation. But, things are going to be way tougher this week if Lairo drops immunity again. Maybe promise to get back together with Kellee’s friend if she’ll work with you?
Reem: Being a P.I. might not work out for you. Stick to sales.
Aubry: Agreed. Keep your day job.
15. Karishma: I’m sure the rest of Lairo would rather keep you around for final Tribal purposes, but another challenge loss is going to be too much for this tribe to deal with.
